Using StudyPlace
Starting a new page
1. Create a new page
- You can create a new page in several ways. The first is to type in the name of the page under search.

Note that if the page already exists, you will be taken to that page. Two pages in StudyPlace cannot have the same title. The second is to click on a page that already links to another StudyPlace page that has not yet been created. These usually show up in red.
2. Type in {{subst: class notes}}
This generates the template page that has been designed for the class. You can modify the template by going to this page.
Editing an existing page
1. Click on the "edit" tab.
![]()
2. You can use the toolbar to create bold, italics, links and other formatting.![]()
If you are familiar with HTML code, you know that you need to markup the beginning and end of each format. For example, if you want put a word in bold, you need to put '''before and after the word or phrase you want to bold. For example: '''make me bold'''. The toolbars provide only basic formatting needs. For more complex formatting, see the next section, or check out the Help pages.
