Upcoming Projects

If you are starting a new project and would like some help, post it here, or if there is something you think should be done, suggest it here, as well.

site navigation

We are reconsidering how the navigation works. Any suggestions are welcome. Our goal is to make it easier to find articles and also to automatically highlight interesting and vibrant parts of the site. 10:05, 9 February 2009 (EST)

social profile

We plan to add the SocialProfile MediaWiki extension to StudyPlace. Hopefully it will help users to get to know each other and to find collaborators for projects.

gui portal

We are investigating GUI/WYSIWIG wiki-text editors that we can install as an option for users. We hope that it will lower the barrier for new and occasional wiki users.

Staging Server

There is a staging server available at http://vstudyplace.ccnmtl.columbia.edu/wiki/Welcome_to_StudyPlace

This server can be used to test changes to the skin, new plug-ins, and new functionality.
